To help protect your investment, every helmet purchase includes a helmet bag, multi-tool kit, spare mic foams, user guide and two of our skull caps.
As a dual visor helmet, the H-CMB is a ballistic model aviation helmet by LD Switzerland. Covered by international patents, the H-CMB helmet is the only one in the world to have a modular cover that can become ballistic, on account of its quick and intuitive top cover replacement system.. With an established factory in Portugal, LD Switzerland is composed of Italian, French, and Swiss designers with decades of engineering experience to innovate and manufacture to excellent production standards.
The H-CMB comes with your choice of internal lens (clear, yellow, amber) and a grey/black external lens, magnetic chinstrap and both 3.5 auxiliary and CEP plugs*.
* the CEP and auxiliary sockets are included exclusively with standard communications, and not with the Bose A30.
Innovative design: Highly resistant to impact and penetration, on account of a brand-new design and high-performance materials.
Modularity = Versatility: The main feature of this helmet is the modularity of its components, which can be chosen according to operational needs.
Exceptional level of comfort: Lightweight, homogeneous weight distribution on the head, outstanding grip under NVG (Night Vision Goggle) or HMDS (Helmet Mounted Display Systems) operations, high level of passive noise reduction, and customisable visors. NVG can be used with the internal visor for eye protection.
Very high passive noise reduction: The best performances in its range.
Unprecedented ballistic and impact protection level: It meets the STANAG 2920 standard (T37 17 grain FSP STANAG 2920 bullet). Versatile capabilities: protection during 100% of mission time, both in training and at war, as switching helmets is not necessary.
Communication kit: 230g +/- 20 (two ear cups with speakers, a flex microphone boom, a control unit, a CEP connector, and an additional audio jack).
Replacement is carried out by removing/applying the three screws that fix the cover to the basic cap, and removing/applying the two aluminum plates that control the visors. This operation is extremely simple as the visors and the relative rotation mechanism remain assembled and anchored to the basic cap.
For this reason, a single helmet can perform various functions as the ballistic cover application offers a ballistic protection level of V50-300m/s to the fragment, according to the STANAG 2920 standard (type I component).
The maxillo face shield is made of carbon and aramid fabric, providing lower face protection from rotor wash and debris.
Lined with isophonic foam, it allows for clear radio communication, including when the rotor door is open or when standing under the rotor.
These are an order-in item.
As LD-Switzerland brings their second factory online, we expect their current time frames of 6-7 months will improve, however we will be able to provide a firmer eta at time of order confirmation.
Returns Policy
• This item is made to order (custom made to order) and there will be charges to reorder if ordered incorrectly by customer.
• If Sisley Clothing Australia is at fault we will fix or replace the item to the customer’s satisfaction.
Conditions of Returns
• Please contact us at admin@sisleyclothing.com.au or phone 02 4950 0400 within 7 days of receiving the order to inform us that they are incorrect.
• Product must be unused, unworn, unwashed and not damaged
• Product must have all original tags and labels attached and undamaged
• Product must be returned complete with all parts and accessories
• Product must be returned in original packaging
• Product must be shipped back to Sisley Clothing Australia.
Warranties outlined herein are specific to manufacturer defect. The warranty does not extend to any product that has been damaged as a result of accident or misuse.
All LD Switzerland helmets include a twelve month warranty. LD-Switzerland also includes twelve month warranty for their BoseA30 installations.
