What is the ETA (estimated time of arrival) on Sisley Clothing orders?
Normally about 2-3 weeks depending on the requirements
Please note: Leading up to Christmas is our busiest time of year, please make sure you order in plenty of time if you require a uniform around this time. ETA can be up to 4-5 weeks.

Is there a warranty on the flight suits?
A general warranty is 6 months after manufactured date; conditions apply depending on the visual look of the garment outside of the 6 month warranty period we will assess the garment. Please contact us for further information.

Can you repair or alter older Sisley flight suits?
Yes, if suits are not too old we can alter lengths, replace zips or repair rips etc, price quoted once viewed.

What does gsm mean?
Grams per square metre

Nomex

Are there special washing instructions for the Nomex suits?
Nomex & Nomex blended fabric instructions –

  • Machine washable cold-warm
  • Tumble dry at moderate temperature
  • Line dry out of direct sunlight
  • Do not use bleach
  • Steam iron
  • Dry cleanable
  • It is recommended to wash the garment separately to avoid extra pilling and reduce ageing.

Does Nomex fabric wash out?
No, Nomex fabric is inherently fire retardant for the life of the garment.

What’s the difference with the fabrics and weights?

  • 150gsm Nomex (4.5oz) – Content is 93% Nomex, 5% Kevlar & 2% Carbon fibre, this is the lightest weight fabric and is the most commonly used it comes in many different colours.
  • Durable Water/Oil repellent (D.W.R) 150gsm Nomex (4.5oz) – Content is 100% Nomex Antistatic blend, this is a light weight fabric and is the most commonly used.
  • 175gsm Nomex - Content is 93% Nomex, 5% Kevlar & 2% Carbon fibre, this fabric comes in a rip stop pattern and is used where extra protection and durability is required, Comes in Royal blue only.
  • 200gsm Nomex – Content is 93% Nomex, 5% Kevlar & 2% Carbon fibre, this fabric comes in a rip stop pattern and is used where maximum protection and durability is required, Comes in many different colours.
  • 160gsm Nomex/FR Lenzing – Content is 50% Nomex/50% FR Lenzing, FR Lenzing is used for extra comfort and moisture absorption this material is made for high humidity climates and is light weight and very comfortable (not as durable as the 150gsm above) This comes in Dark Navy only.
  • 200gsm Nomex/FR Lenzing – Content is 70% Nomex/30% FR Lenzing, FR Lenzing is used for extra comfort and moisture absorption this material is made for high humidity climates and is medium weight and very comfortable, This comes in Dark Navy only.
